Hello and welcome 👋
I'm Rachel, a strong design and product leader with experience working across various of problems, industries, and mediums. Finding power in systems, I respect the details and take a holistic approach to design. My core strengths lie in fostering creatively safe environments for teams while setting a high standard of craft paired with hands-on creative problem solving. In my work, I dive into every project aiming to design something that is as functional as it is beautiful.
I'm inspired by cultural shifts, historical trends, and I look at problems with a lens towards the future. Above all, I aim to work with culture-changing companies to create a positive impact in the world.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Design from the University of Washington with a focus on Visual Communication Design. My work has won awards and gained recognition from institutions including SXSW, FastCo., Wired, The New York Times, The Atlantic, UX Design Awards, The Webby Awards, Fortune Magazine, and others.
Co-Founder of Yona Care. Previously Associate Design Director at frog design and Visual Designer at Amazon.
